Jeep India has launched the Sandstorm Edition for the Compass SUV. The Jeep Compass Sandstorm Edition range starts at Rs 19.49 lakh and goes up to Rs 27.33 lakh. The special edition SUV is available in 3 trim levels – Sports, Longitude, and Longitude (O). It costs an additional Rs 50,000 over the price of the variant that it is based on. Jeep will produce the Sandstorm Edition in limited numbers.

The special edition Jeep Compass rocks Sandstorm-style decals on the hood and along the sides. It also gets an exclusive ‘Sandstorm badge’ on the front fender. The SUV has a bold and rugged look. Inside, it gets programmable ambient lighting, front & rear dash cams for enhanced safety, and carpet & cargo mats.
The Jeep Compass Sandstorm Edition continues to be powered by the 2.0-litre diesel engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 170hp and 350Nm of torque. It can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a 9-speed automatic transmission. The SUV offers a fuel efficiency of 16.2 kmpl. Jeep no longer offers the Compass in a petrol powertrain.

The regular Jeep Compass lineup starts at Rs 18.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 32.41 lakh. It comes with premium features like a 360-degree camera, dual-zone AC, wireless charging, and connected car tech. The SUV rivals the Citroen C5, Volkswagen Tiguan, and Hyundai Tucson in India.
