The Super-ONE follows Honda’s ‘e: Dash BOOSTER’ design language. It has a low and wide stance, with prominent blister fenders encasing the wide tyres. The aerodynamic design, along with the front and rear air ducts, enhances the aerodynamic performance while also ensuring efficient cooling. Up front, the compact EV features a shut-off grille and circular LED headlamps. The Honda logo is studded at the centre of the grille, surrounded by charging port flaps on either side. The EV rests on 8-spoke black alloy wheels. The rectangular LED tail lamps flank either side of the rear windscreen.
Inside, the Honda Super-ONE features exclusive sport seats that are designed for a stable driving position. There are blue accents on the upholstery and the dashboard. There is a free-standing touchscreen infotainment system on board. The horizontal digital instrument cluster is designed to reduce the visual noise and keep the driver’s focus on the road.
The powertrain specs of the Honda Super-ONE have not been revealed yet. The EV has a special ‘Boost’ mode that increases the power output and enhances sharp acceleration. The 7-speed transmission reproduces the gearshift feel of a traditional multi-gear transmission, and the Active Sound Control system produces and plays a powerful, “virtual” engine sound inside the cabin in accordance with driver input through the accelerator and brake pedals.
The automaker also unveiled its 0 α concept alongside the Super-ONE at the Japan Mobility Show. The ‘Alpha’ will join the 0 Saloon and 0 SUV in Honda’s upcoming 0 EV series. Its production will start in India and Japan in 2027. It will be launched in both countries in the same year. While the powertrain specs of the midsize SUV are not known yet, it is expected to come in 2 battery sizes. The larger battery pack could have a 75kWh capacity.
