The new Honda Amaze takes design inspiration from the Elevate SUV and City sedan. The hexagonal grille up front is identical to the one on the Elevate, albeit a little smaller to fit the form of the sedan. A chrome strip runs along the top border of the grille and is flanked on either side with LED headlamps and DRLs. The design of the central air intake and fog lamp housings is inspired by the City sedan.
Along the sides, the 3rd-gen Honda Amaze rocks a new dual-tone design for the 15-inch alloy wheels. The wing mirrors have been moved from the pillar to the doors. A prominent character line runs through the profile of the sedan. At the back, the Amaze features LED tail lamps which are similar to the units on the City sedan. The bottom corners of the rear bumper are equipped with light reflectors.
Inside, the new Honda Amaze gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, and a multi-function steering wheel. Other features include a push start/stop button, rear seat armrests, rear AC vents, wireless charging, connected car tech, and more. On the safety front, the Amaze is equipped with 6 airbags, three-point seatbelts for all passengers, a lane watch camera, traction control, hill start assist, and more. There is also a Honda Sensing ADAS package on board.
Things remain the same under the hood, as the Honda Amaze continues to be powered by the 1.2-litre iVTEC naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 89hp and 110Nm peak torque. Transmission options include a five-speed manual and a CVT gearbox. The manual variant has a fuel efficiency of 18.65kmpl while the CVT variant offers a mileage of 19.46kmpl.
