Honda Amaze: New colour option

Other than the new ‘Crystal Black Pearl’ colour option, no cosmetic changes have been made to the Amaze. The midsize sedan is available in 6 other paint shades – Lunar Silver Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic, and Obsidian Blue Pearl. The front fascia of the sedan looks similar to the Elevate SUV. The hexagonal grille is bordered by a chrome strip at the top and flanked on either side by LED headlamps and DRLs.

The 3rd-gen Amaze packs features like an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, and a multi-function steering wheel. Other features include a push start/stop button, rear seat armrests, rear AC vents, wireless charging, connected car tech, and more.

Powering the sedan is a 1.2-litre iVTEC naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine produces a maximum power output of 89hp and 110Nm peak torque. Transmission options include a five-speed manual and a CVT gearbox. The manual variant has a fuel efficiency of 18.65kmpl while the CVT variant offers a mileage of 19.46kmpl.

Mr Kunal Behl, Vice President, Marketing & Sales, Honda Cars India Ltd., said, “The Honda Amaze has consistently resonated with India’s young and dynamic car buyers who seek style, reliability, and value. With the introduction of the Crystal Black Pearl colour, we’re adding a bold and modern choice that reflects the evolving tastes of today’s youth. This new shade adds a more premium vibe to the Amaze, making it an even more compelling option especially for first-time buyers and young professionals who want their car to stand out.”
