Suzuki Jimny XL Heritage Edition: What’s new?

The Heritage Edition is only available for the Jimny XL, which is the 5-door variant of the lifestyle SUV. The 3-door edition got the special edition last year and sold out within 3 days.

The special edition Suzuki Jimny XL rocks Heritage-themed decals, red front and rear mudflaps, a Heritage cargo tray, and a special Heritage pack. It is available in White, Chiffon Ivory + Bluish Black Pearl, Jungle Green, Bluish Black Pearl or Granite Grey Metallic colours.

Inside, the Suzuki Jimny XL has a 9.0-inch touchscreen Smart Play Pro+ infotainment system with DAB radio, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. It also rocks a 4-speaker audio system. Unlike its Indian counterpart, the Australian Jimny sports an ADAS package. This package consists of features like automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, anti-collision warning, dual camera brake support, lane departure warning, and weaving alert.

Things remain the same under the hood as the Suzuki Jimny XL continues to be offered with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces a maximum power output of 102hp and 130Nm of torque. It can be mated to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission. It also receives Suzuki’s All Grip Pro AWD with low-range transfer gear (4L mode).

It remains to be seen whether the Heritage Edition will be introduced for the 5-door Jimny in India. The SUV rivals the Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha in the subcontinent.
