Citroen India has added new features to the C3 hatchback lineup. These features include cosmetic as well as instrumentation upgrades. The prices for the Citroen C3 hatchback have been hiked in the range of Rs 20,000 – Rs 30,000 as a result. The automaker has also discontinued two variants for the hatchback – Feel Dual-Tone and Feel Turbo.

The Shine variants get the biggest price hike of Rs 30,000. The Feel variant is now dearer by Rs 20,000, while the price of the entry-level Live variant remains unchanged.
In terms of new features, the Citroen C3 now rocks electrically adjustable OVRMs with integrated turn signal and projector LED headlamps. Inside, the hatchback gets automatic climate control and a digital instrument cluster. The power switches for the windows have been moved from the centre console to the doors. In terms of safety, the C3 hatchback now offers six airbags as standard across all variants.
Other features on the hatchback include a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, keyless entry, tilt-adjustable steering, and steering-mounted controls.
Talking about the powertrain, the Citroen C3 hatchback is available in two engine options – a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine. The former produces a maximum power output of 81hp and 115Nm of torque. The latter churns out 109hp and 190Nm. Both engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Citroen recently revealed the full price list for the newly launched Basalt. The crossover is available in six variants and is priced between Rs 7.99 lakh – Rs 13.62 lakh. The C3 hatchback rivals Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Swift, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, and Maruti Suzuki Ignis.
