The VinFast VF MPV 7 stands at dimensions of 4,740mm x 1,872mm x 1,734mm and has a 2,840mm wheelbase. It follows the design language established by the VF6 and VF7, featuring vertically stacked LED headlamps and a sleek light bar connecting the two LED DRLs. This light bar accommodates the VinFast logo in the middle. In profile, the EV looks undeniably like an MPV, as it follows the signature ‘golden ratio’ proportions of MPV design. It has a boxy silhouette and rides on 19-inch aero-optimised alloy wheels. At the back, the LED taillamps and light bar follow the design of the DRLs up front.
Inside, the VF MPV 7 has a 7-seat layout. The 10.1-inch display on the dashboard functions as the digital instrument cluster and the touchscreen infotainment system. The 3-spoke steering wheel has mounted controls but lacks a proper instrument panel behind it. It is expected to get a Heads Up Display (HUD). Other features like a powered driver’s seat, automatic climate control, an air purifier, and a 4-speaker sound system are expected to make the cut. On the safety front, the electric MPV packs 4 airbags, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Start Assist (HSA), a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and more.
The VinFast VF MPV 7 is powered by a front-mounted single electric motor. This motor produces a maximum power output of 201hp and 280Nm of torque. It can go from 0-100km/h in less than 10 seconds. There are 3 drive modes on offer – Eco, Normal, and Sport. The MPV is equipped with a 60.13kWh battery pack. It offers a driving range of over 500km on a full charge. Using an 80kW DC fast charger, it can be replenished from 10-70% in 30 minutes.
Mr Tapan Ghosh, CEO of VinFast India, said: “The VF MPV 7 marks another step forward in VinFast’s efforts to win over Indian consumers with modern, practical, and accessible electric mobility solutions. We believe this model will help redefine standards in its segment and become an ideal choice for families seeking a clean mobility solution that meets everyday practicality.”
