Audi A4 Signature Edition launched in India

Audi India has added a new ‘Signature Edition’ to the A4 sedan’s lineup. The Audi A4 Signature Edition is priced at Rs 57.11 lakh. It gets some cosmetic and feature upgrades but remains unchanged under the hood. The special edition is based on the top-spec Technology trim of the sedan. However, it does not demand a premium. The automaker has confirmed that the Signature Edition will be produced in limited numbers. Bookings for the special edition sedan are currently open.

Audi A4 Signature Edition: What’s new?

The Signature Edition of the Audi A4 sedan gets several styling enhancements. These include Audi rings decals on rear doors, dynamic wheel hub caps, Audi rings LED entry lamps, a boot lid spoiler, and a special alloy wheel paint design. The special edition sedan is available in 5 exterior paint shades: Glacier White Metallic, Mythos Black Metallic, Navarra Blue Metallic, Progressive Red Metallic, and Manhattan Grey Metallic.

Inside, the Audi A4 Signature Edition gets park assist with a 360-degree camera. It also gets new decorative inlays in wood oak and natural grey themes. Other feature upgrades include a premium fragrance dispenser, stainless steel pedal covers, and a customisable key cover. The sedan retains the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It also comes with a 19-speaker B&O sound system, a three-zone climate control, powered front seats, ambient lighting, and other premium features.

Under the hood, the Audi A4 Signature Edition carries forward the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine from the regular model. A 12V mild-hybrid system works in tandem with this engine. This setup is mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The sedan produces a maximum power output of 204hp and 320Nm of torque. It can go from 0-100 km/h in 7.1 seconds. Its top speed is capped at 241 km/h.

The Audi A4 Signature Edition is crafted for discerning customers who value refined aesthetics and seek to make a sophisticated statement through their choice of vehicle.”

Final Thoughts

Prices for the regular Audi A4 lineup start at Rs 46.99 lakh and go up to Rs 57.11 lakh. It will be replaced by the new Audi A5 by the end of the year. As of now, the sedan rivals the BMW 3 Series, Toyota Camry, Mercedes-Benz C Class, and Volvo S60.
