The 2026 BMW X6 has gone on sale in India. The coupe-SUV crossover (or Sports Activity Coupe, as BMW prefers to call it) is available in a single, top-spec, M60i variant, priced at Rs 1.78 lakh. This variant is powered by the twin-turbo V8 engine linked to a mild hybrid system. It has been imported to India via the CBU (Completely Built-up Unit) route.

The 2026 BMW X6 M60i stands at dimensions of 4,960mm x 2,004mm x 1,700mm, and has a 2,975mm wheelbase. It clears the ground at 216mm. Its front fascia features BMW’s iconic kidney grille. It rocks vertical double ribs and a matte black finish. The exclusive M logo is placed on the left side of this setup. Flanking the grille on either side are adaptive LED headlamps integrated with arrow-shaped DRLs. The dual-tone bumper has a wide central air dam and side air vents.
The profile of the crossover reveals a long, swooping roofline, which lends it its coupe-like silhouette. The ‘SAC’ rests on 21-inch alloy wheels. The brake callipers have red highlights while the OVRMs are finished in black. At the back, the BMW X6 M60i gets sleek wraparound tail lamps, a dual-tone bumper, and quad exhaust tips. There are 6 paint shades on offer – Aventurine Red, Manhattan Metallic, Brooklyn Grey, Black Sapphire, Mineral White and Isle of Man Green.
Inside, the X6 M60i flaunts a dual-screen setup with a curvy form factor. It comprises a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display. The infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other features include a Heads-Up Display (HUD), powered and ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, a dual-zone climate control system, a 16-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system, ambient lighting, wireless charging, connected car tech, and more.
On the safety front, the crossover gets features like six airbags, Attentiveness Assistance, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) including Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Cornering Brake Control (CBC), electric parking brake with auto hold, side-impact protection, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensors, Tyre Pressure Indicator, ISOFIX child seat mounting and tyre repair kit. There is a Level 2 ADAS package on board as well.
Powering the 2026 BMW X6 M60i is a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine. This engine is mated to a 48V mild hybrid setup. The combined power output comes out to 530hp along with 750Nm of torque. Transmission duties are handled by an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The crossover can go from 0-100km/h in 4.3 seconds, with the top speed capped at 250km/h. It offers a mileage of 7.89km/l.
