2025 Yamaha R15 gets new colours, priced at Rs 1.67 lakh

Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. has updated the R15 series with new paint shades. This is a part of its ‘The Call of the Blue’ campaign. Prices for the 2025 Yamaha R15 series start at 1.67 lakh. The lineup comprises the R15M, R15 Version 4, and R15S. The top-spec R15M fetches Rs 2.01 lakh.

2025 Yamaha R15: What’s new?

Here is the price list for the 2025 R15 lineup.

The R15M gets a new refined Metallic Grey paint shade, adding a premium touch to its sporty exterior. The R15 Version 4 is available in a bold new Metallic Black colour option. Yamaha says this shade was added due to a huge consumer demand. The graphics in the Racing Blue variant of the Version 4 have also been updated. The mid-spec variant also gets the Matte Pearl White colour option, bringing the global R-Series identity to the motorbike. The entry-level R15S is available in a new Matte Black shade with vermillion wheels.

The R15 is powered by Yamaha’s advanced 155cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. It also gets the DiASil cylinder and Deltabox frame. It generates a maximum power output of 18.4hp and 14.2Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox.

On the occasion of the launch of the new R15 lineup, Yamaha commented, “The R15 continues to be the most popular sportsbike in its segment in India, with over 1 million units manufactured in the country. Its consistent appeal among young riders and performance enthusiasts highlights its position as the benchmark in the entry-level Supersport category. With the introduction of these refreshed colours, Yamaha aims to enhance customer excitement during the festive season and further strengthen the R15’s reputation as the dream machine for many first-time sportsbike riders, while continuing to make it an aspirational choice that blends style, performance and value.”
