Pre-facelift Volkswagen Taigun offered with discounts worth up to Rs 3 lakh

Following the launch of the Volkswagen Taigun facelift, its outgoing version is being offered with discounts of up to Rs 3 lakh. The Virtus sedan and Tiguan SUV have also received significant offers. The discounts come in the form of cash offers, exchange/scrappage bonuses, and loyalty benefits. They will expire at the end of the month.

Volkswagen Taigun 

Maximum Discount: Rs 3 lakh

The MY2025 Topline MT variant of the pre-facelift Volkswagen Taigun has received the biggest discount package this month. It is available with cash offers of Rs 2.50 lakh, an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000, and a loyalty bonus of Rs 20,000. These offers add up to Rs 3 lakh. The MY2025 Highline Plus variants are available with a Rs 1.30 lakh discount package with cash offers worth up to Rs 80,000, loyalty benefits of up to Rs 20,000, and a Rs 30,000 exchange bonus. The cash offers for the MY2026 units of this variant are limited to Rs 25,000.

The GT Line variants are available with a cash offer of Rs 50,000 and additional support worth up to Rs 50,000. Meanwhile, the Comfortline and Highline trims are available with a Rs 50,000 cash offer only. Prices for the pre-facelift Taigun start at Rs 10.58 lakh and go up to Rs 19.19 lakh.

Volkswagen Tiguan

Maximum Discount: Rs 4.50 lakh

The Tiguan SUV is available in a single R-Line trim in India. It is available with a Rs 4.50 lakh discount this month. This includes a cash offer of Rs 3.50 lakh, an exchange bonus worth Rs 50,000, and Rs 50,000 off in loyalty benefits. The Tiguan is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. This engine can produce a maximum power output of 204hp and 320Nm of torque. The SUV is priced at Rs 45.73 lakh.

Volkswagen Virtus

Maximum Discount: Rs 1.25 lakh

The MY2025 Topline variants of the Virtus sedan are available with a cash offer worth Rs 75,000 (Rs 20,000 for MY2026 units), an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000, and a Rs 20,000 loyalty bonus. This takes the value of the discount package to Rs 1.25 lakh. The Highline variants are available with cash offers worth up to Rs 30,000 (MY2025 units) and Rs 20,000 (MY2026 units), along with exchange bonuses worth Rs 30,000, and loyalty benefits of Rs 20,000.

The Highline, GT Plus Sport, and GT Plus Chrome trims are not available with any cash offers, but they do get exchange bonuses and loyalty benefits. The Virtus shares its powertrain with the Taigun. It comes with 2 engine options – 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI. Its prices start at Rs 10.50 lakh and go up to Rs 19 lakh.

Final Thoughts

As mentioned earlier, these discounts will expire on April 30. The value of the discount package may vary among dealerships and is subject to the availability of stock. Enquire about individual discount packages from your local Volkswagen dealership.
