Tata Harrier EV AWD priced at Rs 28.99 lakh

The price for the AWD variant of the Tata Harrier EV has finally been revealed to be Rs 28.99 lakh. This is the introductory price for early buyers. The actual price, after the introductory offer has ended, will be slightly higher. Tata took the wraps off the Harrier EV earlier this month, pricing the entry-level variant at Rs 21.49 lakh. The prices for the Stealth Edition are yet to be revealed. Bookings for the electric SUV start on July 2.

Here is the price list for all the variants of the Tata Harrier EV.

The Tata Harrier EV is available in 2 battery pack sizes – 65kWh and 75kWh. The 75kWh battery pack offers 622km MIDC-certified range. The real-world range estimated by C75 is between 480-505km. Meanwhile, the 65kWh has an ARAI-certified range of 538km. Tata’s C75 drive cycle test puts its range between 420-445km.

Using a 120kW AC fast charger, the 75kWh battery pack can go from 20% to 80% in 25 minutes. A 7.2kW AC fast charger can take it from 10% to 100% in 10.7 hours. Meanwhile, a 15A plug point takes 29 hours to fully charge the battery pack.

The AWD variant of the Tata Harrier EV is powered by a dual electric engine. This setup generates a maximum power output of 390hp and 594Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the RWD variants put out 238hp and 315Nm of torque.

The Tata Harrier EV is decked with premium features. These include a 10-speaker JBL audio system, digital key, smart card, remote key, built-in navigation, memory seating, rear headrests, centre armrest with cupholders, a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, a dual-zone climate control, cooled storage, an air purifier, ambient lighting, 65W wireless charging, and more. The 14.53-inch touchscreen infotainment system is the first to come with a Samsung Neo QLED automotive display.

The Tata Harrier EV was recently awarded a 5-star safety rating by Bharat NCAP. It packs safety features like 7 airbags, ESP with i-VBAC, Acoustic Vehicle Alert System, Hill Descent Control, Hill Hold Assist, TPMS, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, a 360-degree camera, and an e-IVRM with a digital video recorder. There is also a Level 2 ADAS package on board.

Final Thoughts

As mentioned earlier, Tata will start accepting bookings for the Harrier EV on July 2. The introductory price offer will apply to a limited number of bookings. The prices for the Stealth Edition will be revealed soon. The Harrier EV rivals the Mahindra XEV 9eMahindra BE 6Maruti Suzuki e Vitara, and Hyundai Creta Electric.
