Tata Curvv EV
Key Highlights
The Tata Curvv EV is set to launch in India on August 7. The crossover was revealed by Tata Motors last week. The all-electric version of the Curvv will be launched first followed by the ICE model. Ahead of the launch, the colour options for the ICE Curvv have been leaked online. It is understood that the EV will share some of these colours but will also get some exclusive shades.

Tata Curvv will be made available in six colour options – Daytona Grey, Pure Grey, Flame Red, Cosmic Gold, Pristine White, and Opera Blue. Buyers can also choose a dual-tone option with any of these colours along with a black roof. Like other Tata offerings, the Curvv will also get a Dark Edition down the line with the Oberon Black colour option.
The front fascia of Tata Curvv looks similar to the latest Tata Nexon facelift. The LED headlamps are housed within edgy cutouts on the bonnet and a sleek LED light bar runs across the grille, connecting the DRLs. In profile, the Curvv exudes its coupe look with a sloping roofline towards the rear.
Talking about the features, the Tata Curvv is expected to get a 12.3-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster along with a two-spoke illuminated steering wheel. Its dashboard layout will be similar to that of the Nexon but the automaker may introduce new interior colour options for the crossover.
The powertrain details for the Tata Curvv have not been made public yet. We expect it to share its engine options with the ICE and Electric Nexon. This means the ICE variant will be powered by the 1.5-litre CRAIL diesel engine which produces a maximum power output of 113hp and 260Nm of torque. Tata may also add the 125hp, 225Nm producing 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine to the lineup. The LR variant of the Curvv EV could boast a driving range of up to 500km.
