Skoda Slavia Style Edition: What’s new?

The Skoda Slavia Style Edition gets blacked-out B pillars with exclusive ‘Edition’ badging. The mirror covers and roof foil have also been blacked out. Other than that, there are no changes to the exterior of the sedan. The special edition sedan is available in 3 exclusive colours – Tornado Red, Candy White, and Brilliant Silver.

Inside, the Style Edition of the Skoda Slavia sedan gets ‘Slavia’ branding on the scuff plate and ‘Edition’ branding on the steering wheel. The puddle lamps on the sedan project the brand’s logo on the ground. It also gets all the features from the top-spec Style trim. This includes a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, and a sunroof. Skoda Slavia is one of the safest midsize sedans in India, having received a 5-star rating from the Global NCAP. The sedan is offered with six airbags as standard across all variants.

Under the hood, the Style Edition of Skoda Slavia is offered with only one powertrain option – 1.5-litre TSI petrol. This 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 150hp and 250Nm peak torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox. This sedan can go from 0-100kmph in 8.96 seconds.

Speaking on the product, Petr Janeba, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India, said: “The Slavia Style Edition is yet another instance of us listening to our discerning customers and offering an extremely exclusive, yet high value product for our customers. It comes in very limited numbers, for a very focussed set of our customers, but will be accessible across our 200-plus sales touchpoints across India.”
