Skoda Slavia and Kushaq updated with new features

Skoda India has updated its midrange offerings with new features. The entry-level and mid-spec variants of Skoda Slavia and Kushaq have been equipped with premium features from the higher variants. The prices for the two cars have also been updated. The automaker is also offering the ‘Supercare’ service package without any extra charge for one year. This offer is available for all Skoda cars.

Skoda Slavia and Kushaq: Here are the new features

The mid-spec Signature trim of Skoda Slavia has been updated with LED headlamps, LED DRLs, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming IVRM, and a sunroof. Despite the addition of new features, its prices have gone down by Rs 40,000. Meanwhile, the entry-level Classic MT variant is now cheaper by Rs 35,000. Here is the updated price list for Skoda Slavia.

The Signature trim of the Kushaq SUV has been updated with 17-inch alloy wheels, rear fog lamps, rain-sensing wipers, auto-dimming IVRM, and a sunroof. The prices for this trim have gone up by Rs 69,000 for the manual variants and Rs 18,000 for the automatic variants. Meanwhile, the entry-level Classic trim is now dearer by Rs 10,000.

Skoda Slavia and Kushaq are available in 2 engine options. The 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power of 115hp and 175Nm peak torque. The 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 150hp and 250Nm peak torque. Transmission options include a six-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox.

Conclusion

Skoda has also announced that it will launch Anniversary Editions for the Slavia and Kushaq later this year to celebrate 25 years of operations in India. The new model of the Kodiaq SUV will be launched in April and the Octavia sedan will make a comeback in September.
