Skoda Kylaq recently completed 50,000 sales in India. This came after the SUV achieved the 50,000 units production landmark. To celebrate the sales milestone, Skoda is offering benefits of up to Rs 50,000 on the compact SUV. On top of that, the 1-year Skoda Maintenance package is available with a 50% discount. Every customer will also get an assured gift with their purchase. These offers will expire at the end of the month.

Launched in December 2024, the Kylaq was Skoda’s first sub-4m SUV offering in India. The SUV went into production in the same month. By the end of 2025, it had sold 46,872 units, averaging 3,906 sales per month. In January 2026, the Kylaq crossed the 50,000 sales landmark. It is now the quickest Skoda car to achieve this feat.
In January 2026, Skoda updated the Kylaq with Classic+ and Prestige+ variants. The former sits just above the entry-level Classic trim, while Prestige+ becomes the new top-spec variant in the SUV’s lineup. Since these variants were introduced at the tail end of January, they did not play a considerable role in the monthly sales. Due to their addition, the SUV will see more sales in February and the following months. There are a total of 6 trim levels on offer – Classic, Classic+, Signature, Signature+, Prestige, Prestige+.
One of the reasons behind the success of the Skoda Kylaq is its extensive feature list. Its dashboard flaunts a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an 8-inch digital instrument cluster. The infotainment system runs Skoda’s new proprietary OS. Other features include six-way electric seats with ventilation, cruise control, steering-mounted paddle shifters, an electric sunroof, and more. The interior is available in single-tone and dual-tone colour themes.
The Skoda Kylaq is powered by a three-cylinder, 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine. This engine generates a maximum power output of 115hp and 178Nm of torque. It can be mated to a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. The SUV can go from 0 to 100 kph in just 10.5 seconds. Its top speed is capped at 188kmph.

Prices for the Skoda Kylaq start at Rs 7.59 lakh and go up to Rs 12.99 lakh. As mentioned earlier, the Rs 50,000 benefits, Skoda Maintenance package discount, and the assured gift will only be given out to customers who make their bookings by February 28. Skoda has also announced that it will add a Sportline variant to the Kylaq’s lineup in September. As things stand, the SUV rivals the Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Tata Nexon, and Kia Sonet in India.
