Maruti Suzuki Victoris: Everything you need to know

Maruti’s new SUV will come in 6 trim levels – LXI, VXI, ZXI, ZXI(O), ZXI+, and ZXI+(O). Its front fascia takes design inspiration from the e Vitara. The segment LED DRLs are connected across the bonnet and exude a sharp look. The LED headlamps flank either side of the grille. The Victoris rests on 17-inch alloy wheels and has squared-off body cladding. The pillars are blacked out while the roof rails are finished in silver. At the back, the LED tail lamps are connected by a light bar.

Inside, the Maruti Suzuki Victoris is packed with exciting features. It gets a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with multiple display modes sits behind the two-spoke steering wheel. The 8-speaker audio system supports Dolby Atmos. Other features include automatic climate control, 64-colour ambient lighting, an 8-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat, Heads-Up Display, a panoramic sunroof, an air purifier, connected car tech, wireless charging, and more.

The Victoris is well equipped on the safety front as well. It has received a 5-star safety rating from the Bharat NCAP. Meanwhile, the 1.5-litre TNGA petrol engine from Toyota with a strong hybrid system puts out 115hp and 137Nm. The CNG engine puts out 89hp.

Mr Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “The new-age Indian customer is well-travelled, hyper-connected, socially aware, technologically progressive and environmentally responsible. To meet the aspirations of such customers, our new SUV the VICTORIS has “Got It All”. VICTORIS is a Latin word that means ‘victory’. We are confident the VICTORIS with its high technology, sleek design, intelligent and connected features, 5-star level safety and multiple environment friendly powertrains will win hearts in India.
