Hyundai Venue prices hiked by Rs 20,000

Hyundai Motor India has hiked the prices of several variants of the Hyundai Venue. The HX5 variant with the 1.2-litre petrol manual powertrain has received the highest price hike. The prices of the entry-level and top-spec trims remain unchanged. The 2nd-gen Venue was launched in November 2025. It crossed the 1 lakh bookings landmark earlier this month.

The Hyundai Venue comes in 3 engine options – Kappa 1.2-litre MPi petrol, Kappa 1.0-litre turbo GDi petrol, and U2 1.5-litre CRDi Diesel. The 1.2-litre petrol engine generates a maximum power output of 82hp and 114.7Nm torque. It can be paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine produces a maximum power output of 118hp and 172Nm of torque. This engine can be mated to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT transmission with Idle Stop and Go (ISG). Lastly, the 1.5-litre diesel engine pumps out 114hp and 250Nm. It can be paired with a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox.

In terms of features, the 2nd-gen Venue packs dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic displays for the touchscreen infotainment system and the digital instrument cluster. There’s support for wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with Hyundai’s new Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) system powered by NVIDIA. Other features include an 8-speaker Bose sound system, ventilated front seats, a voice-enabled smart electric sunroof, 2-step reclining rear seats, rear AC vents, ambient lighting, connected car tech, and more.

In terms of safety, the Hyundai Venue gets 6 airbags, 3-point seatbelts for all passengers with reminders, disc brakes on all 4 wheels, a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), an Electro Chromic Mirror (ECM) with telematics switches, Electronic stability control (ESC), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), Electric Parking Brake (EPB) with auto hold, a Surround View Monitor (SVM), a Blind Spot View Monitor (BVM), rollover sensor, and more features. The Level 2 ADAS suite consists of 16 functions.

Final Thoughts

The Hyundai Venue range starts at Rs 7.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 15.51 lakh. With 3 engine options, it is one of the most versatile SUVs on the market. It rivals the Kia SonetTata NexonMahindra XUV 3XOSkoda KylaqMaruti Suzuki Fronx, and Maruti Suzuki Brezza in India.
